Amnesty International Greece highlights patterns of unlawful police violence during protests

ATHENS, GREECE — Amnesty International Greece presents its report titled “Protest Is Not a Battlefield: Patterns of Unlawful Use of Police Force and Impunity,” examining allegations of excessive police violence against demonstrators and the lack of accountability mechanisms in Greece. The presentation brought together researchers, legal experts, civil society representatives and members of the public to discuss the findings and recommendations of the report.
