Farmers Rally in Barcelona for Fair Prices and Measures to Tackle Agricultural Crisis

Barcelona, Spain – October 14, 2026
The mobilization of nearly 200 tractors and more than 1,000 farmers, organized by Unió de Pagesos in Barcelona, ​​demands aid in the face of the agricultural crisis: more favorable agricultural taxation, fair prices, and measures to address production costs, imports, and damage caused by wildlife.

The protest has taken the farmers' demands to the Government Delegation in Catalonia, the Department of Agriculture of the Generalitat (Catalan Government), and the Palau de la Generalitat (Government Palace).
