


Greece Overcomes Cyprus 82–75 at the Aegean Acropolis Friendly in Athens
ATHENS, GREECE – AUGUST 24, 2026: Greece and Cyprus compete in the Aegean Acropolis international basketball friendly at Telekom Center Athens. Greece recovered after trailing 21–17 at the end of the opening quarter to secure an 82–75 victory in its final preparation game before the next window of the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup European Qualifiers. Tyler Dorsey led Greece with 18 points, while Kostas Antetokounmpo recorded 10 points and 11 rebounds. Giannoulis Larentzakis made his 100th appearance for the Greek national team.
