Duplantis Soars to Fourth European Pole Vault Crown as Karalis Takes Silver

BIRMINGHAM, UNITED KINGDOM – AUGUST 16, 2026: Greece’s Emmanouil Karalis competes in the men’s pole vault final during the European Athletics Championships at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham. Sweden’s Armand Duplantis won his fourth consecutive European title with a championship record of 6.15 metres, ahead of Karalis, who claimed silver with 6.00m, while France’s Baptiste Thiery took bronze with 5.85m.
