KARBALA, IRAQ – AUGUST 2026: Shiite Muslim pilgrims and Husseini processions gather at the Imam Hussein Shrine in Karbala during Arbaeen, commemorating 40 days since Ashura and the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, grandson of the Prophet Muhammad, at the Battle of Karbala in 680 AD.
