PDK lawmakers urge swift processing of Specialist Chambers amendments

PRISTINA, KOSOVO – 29 SEPTEMBER 2026: Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) lawmakers Arian Tahiri and Përparim Gruda call for urgent processing of proposed amendments to the Law on Specialist Chambers, warning that the Assembly could be dissolved on October 6. They urge the government to issue its opinion on the draft law, submitted on September 21. Gruda says the proposal would allow proceedings to continue in Kosovo if an appeal leads to a retrial.
