Barcelona, Spain – October 9, 2026
Thousands of housing rights protesters marched through downtown Barcelona to call for a general strike on November 11.

The march, organized by several unions, observed a minute of silence in memory of Mari Carmen, who died after being evicted last week, and Olga and Javier, who committed suicide when they were about to be evicted.
